  • Stopgap is now on Bandcamp!

  • Brain Fever is now on Bandcamp!

What is Brain Fever? What is any of this stuff? What is going on?? Why do I have all these different names for things and projects?

The answer is…because i’m dumb. Sorry. I didn’t want this for you. Or me! I have bad brain.

Anyway, Brain Fever began as me recording covers and getting back to liking the sound of my voice. But now it’s including new stuff by me. That’s the extent of the reasoning. So, it’s pretty much the name for my new solo stuff.

For right now, Brain Fever is solo stuff with vocals, Scoobers is still electronic only, Stopgap is ambient/drone. Capeesh?

  • Some more old stuff

This is the best of my solo stuff from back in the day, now finally online. thought it might rot on my hard drives but here it is. part lies, part heart, part garbage…

  • some new music and stuff and/or things

i been busy, yall sons of bitches. i played an open mic on 8/30/25 and did Give Me Novacaine by green day that was cool good times

working on a cover of Summer Kisses Winter Tears featuring the beautiful vocals of Madeline Hui. here it is.

here’s some more new musical ephemera for the potential pleasure of the listener

  • Meeting the sketchy guy under the stairs

There are 3 primary NPCs you’ll interact with, as well as a number of ancillary NPCs with smaller roles. Each primary NPC has a little introduction scene like this one.

  • Opening cutscene + 2 ending demonstrations for Aidan: The Game

There are at least 22 endings for the game. (You can read the script if you want to find out about them.) Here are some videos demonstrating 2 of them.

The premise of the game is bleak. Or funny. Or both. I’ll go with both. But it can end well (maybe) if you do the right things and everyone is happy and nobody dies and there is much rejoicing. Yay! Or everyone dies horribly and it’s a nightmare of despair. Boo! Or yay, if you like to see the bad endings.

There is of course more to life and the world of this game than staying inside and drinking coffee and playing computer games. You will have to venture out into the world and meet people in order to find better things to do than kill yourself or play video games. You will learn to help those in need and make the world a better place.

…that is, unless you make the wrong choices and throw the outside world into chaos. Then everyone will hate you or something like that and you’ll go damn dude that was weird. The choice is yours!

Out in the ephemery there’s a cold, haunting dichotomy of concrete that bleeds and living trees
Echoed like swarms of tranquil bees.

And while it’s true I don’t know you, I have seen some strange things you do.

So I stand a cheer with great aplomb, for aidanator three thousand dot com
